Built in the early 1970s, this was Quinta do Lagos very first development, originally with only 20 apartments, then known as Terracos da Ria Formosa. It was later bought and enlarged to provide 36 apartments with spectacular views across the Ria Formosa and the ocean. The club operates on a timeshare basis administered by its members. There is a mix of apartments - twenty 1-bedroom, nine 2-bedrooms, and two with 3-bedrooms. There are also four 2-bedroom penthouses and one 3-bedroom penthouse. All have large terraces to take advantage of the views and the Algarvean sunsets. Communal facilities include two swimming pools (one of them for children), use of two tennis courts, a small gym, sauna and snooker room.
