During winter nearby Sapphire Valley Ski Area operates three ski slopes with weather permitting.

The amenities are quite spectacular and include a private beach on Fairfield Lake Canoe which offers paddleboat and fishing boat rentals. A 9-Hole Golf Course and the18-Hole PGA Sapphire Mountain Golf Course will both be enjoyed by fans of the game.
